What is the age requirement to apply for a driving license?
Motorcycle License (B&B2)
– 16 years and above
Car license (D&DA)
– 17 Years and above
What are the documents required
For Malaysian
– Identification card – Registration Fee
For Passport holders
– Passport (Valid for at least 6 months)
– Visa (Valid for at least 6 months)
– Registration Fee
What is the dress code/ attire for attending driving lesson and JPJ test?
For male candidates
– Collar sleeve shirt
– Long Pants
– Shoe (sandals and slippers are not allowed)
For female candidates
– Shirt must be sleeved and not too short
– Shoe (sandals and slippers are not allowed)
– Skirt must be below knee level or pants until the feetFor Malaysian

What are the difference between D & DA License?
Car license D (Manual)
You can drive both manual & Automatic transmissions car. Your Driving license can be upgraded into heavy vehicle llicense.
Car license DA (Automatic)
You are only allowed to drive an Automatic transmissions car. Your Driving license cannot be upgraded into heavy vehicle license
