Riakar is a trusted driving education provider committed to shaping confident, responsible, and skilled drivers.
Institut Memandu Riakar Sdn Bhd was established in 1986. Initial operation on 20 December 1986 and led by three shareholders. First, Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Hajjah Shahariah Bte Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Second, Yang Mulia Tunku Abu Bakar Bin Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman and last Syed Abu Bakar Bin Idrus Alkaff.
‘ Juhara ‘ is the first name as well as the original name which was created on 20 December 1986. In mid 1987 on 15 June 1987 for the second time the company’s name was changed to a ‘ Riakar Teknik Memandu Sdn Bhd ‘ now known as Institut Memandu Riakar Sdn Bhd since 4 October 1999 ‘ Riakar ‘ is a combination of the names YAM Tunku Hajjah Shahariah and YM Tunku Bakar.
